I drew Artemis a long time ago in a sort of fantasy type theme, and then I did Athena, but she hadn't been as good, so I never posted her. This one doesn't look at all like it would be the companion piece, but oh well. I was inspired to redo it, and so I did. I love her helmet. I added the shield at the last minute because I thought this focused too much on war and not enough on wisdom, so I added an owl icon. I like how I shaded instead of colored. I really do like shading. I don't know how I am at shading, lol, but it's fun. ^_^ If she had her helmet off, btw, she'd have elf ears. I was trying to think of how I could show them, but it wouldn't be very practical to have a helmet exposing your ears, and I like it the way it is. It looks so shiney, and I love the feathers. Anyway... I'll stop rambling now. ^_^ Athena is my patron goddess, which I think would be pretty obvious. Violence, knowledge, the arts, yep.
